Etna Products, Inc. has available various pieces of equipment to assist the Etna lubricant user to maintain optimum performance of the lubricants. These are engineered lubricant maintenance systems designed to remove, clean and prolong the life of your metalworking lubricant and to improve the quality of your finished product. These products include:

InLine Cleaning Box Assembly (MPD-WB-02)
Designed to remove or clean excess lubricant residue from tube, rod, bar, wire or strip stock. Compression wipe strips dirt from incoming stock, spray nozzles apply cleaning solution (such as safety solvent) to the workpiece, a second compression wipe removes the excess cleaning solution and an air knife wipes the outbound material dry.

Magnetic Trap (MPD-FT-02)
Designed to provide magnetic filtration of drawing lubricants by removing scale, oxides and iron fines suspended in the lubricant. This provides cleaner oil and results in improved die life and surface finish of the workpiece. The unit is typically mounted on the suction side of the pump for optimum performance.

Benefits: These self-contained units improve mill environment, reduce labor cost and incorporate easily into an existing line.

Simple and Accurate Proportioning Device for Water-Dilutable Fluids

HydroMaster drum or wall mounted proportioners automatically mix liquid cleaning and sanitizing concentrates with water and dispense the diluted solution into any container (auto scrubber, mop bucket, buddy jugs, etc.).

Manual mixing of concentrates with water is time consuming and imprecise; the strength of the diluted solution may be too strong one time and too weak the next. Automatic dilution with the HydroMaster takes this variability out of the cleaning system, so the concentrated cleaning product consistently delivers maximum performance.

Any size container of concentrate can be used with the HydroMaster because there's no need to tip the container to pour the contents. HydroMasters use water power, not electricity, so concentrates don't have to be located near outlets, just within a hose's reach of a water source. Concentrates are safer to use with the HydroMaster, too. Exposure to the concentrated product is limited only to those times when the proportioner is being moved from one concentrate container to another.

Refractometer

A refractometer is a handheld optical instrument that can be used to measure the mix concentration of metalworking fluids. The refractometer provides a numeric reading by measuring the refractive index of the fluid mix. This allows the operator to monitor the concentration of the metalworking fluid.
